Carol Chapman is an inspirational speaker, a new age metaphysical author, a nature photographer and an independent filmmaker. She specializes in the lost continent of Atlantis, past lives, and Yucatan travel. In addition to authoring When We Were Gods, she provided the many amazing photographs found throughout the book. Formerly under contract to NASA as a photojournalist, her photos have been published all over the world.

Her articles have been published in several new age metaphysical magazines including FATE, Dream Network, Alternate Perceptions, Circle, Whole Life Times and Venture Inward. Carol has also appeared on several radio talk shows, including Coast to Coast AM (Art Bell & George Noory) and the Maria Shaw Show.  She has a bachelor’s degree in journalism from Prescott College in Arizona and studied photography and filmmaking at Ryerson University in Toronto.

Carol went for hypnotherapy for weight loss hypnosis. To her surprise, when the  hypnotherapist led her through past life regression, she began to relive memories of past lives in the lost continent Atlantis. Under past life hypnosis, she saw a vision of Atlantean souls who had made the choice long, long ago in their previous life to return at this very crucial time when the earth again teeters on the end of the world. She was told that her purpose was to awaken these Atlantean souls to their purpose in life by recounting the history and destiny of the soul on earth. These hypnotherapy sessions laid the groundwork for what eventually became When We Were Gods. Intrigued with her memories of Atlantean colonies, she traveled to Yucatan where she found confirmation of her past life regression memories.
